Cat Keem
Born and raised in Honolulu, movement and art have been a part of Cat’s life from an early age. Her passion for dance began at the highly recognized dance program at Mid-Pacific Institute School of the Arts. While pursuing dance professionally in her college years, she experienced various injuries, such as a herniated disc, sciatica and instability in the joints due to hypermobility. This led her to prioritize her health.
After trying several different modalities to heal her body, from yoga to chiropractic therapy and more, she discovered Pilates while living in Los Angeles, and started to recover from her back injury. This newfound passion propelled her to share this wonderful method with others who may also be suffering from their own injuries and imbalances.
In 2017, she began and completed her mat and comprehensive training at Pilates O Ka La under Chelsea Peck and Hilary Brown.
Cat’s goal as an instructor is to empower her clients and help them understand their bodies better – so they may find strength, joy and balance in life. Warm-hearted and attentive to detail, clients continuously request Cat for her challenging workouts and her holistic approach to wellness. She believes that everyone, injured or not, can greatly benefit from Pilates and become more conscious in our daily lives.
Cat teaches Pilates in Korean and English.
